The letters written to the Thessalonians are rich, detailed letters. Paul, Silas and Timothy wrote a letter to the Thessalonians, a letter that we have the pleasure of reading.
The Thessalonians had somehow understood that Jesus was coming immediately so they stopped working and they sat around day and night waiting on the Lord’s return! Paul had to write a letter to correct their thinking on this; they had completely misunderstood!
But get this!
We will meet a church that comes very close to being a model church, wow, never done that before!
The Church of the Thessalonians set a good example and a standard of excellence for us to try to follow.
